The key purpose of this role is to estimate planned works using industry estimating tools, previous history, and contractors' prices. You will also produce detailed, accurate claims for Lifecycle and Change funding, for client or Customer approval.

Other responsibilities of this role include:

Ensuring compliance with ADSL’s Management System QHSE policies.

Preparing Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) Cost Plan costings based on pricing methodologies and historic contractor prices for defined Scopes of Work.

Participating in tender evaluations to assess value for money and compares ROM costs against final out turn costs to continuously improve the accuracy of pricing.

To be successful in this role you must be able to estimate BC&E and M&E general construction works and understand current building regulations and codes of practice. You must also be Computer Literate with excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills.

In addition, you will need to be a team player, able to work alongside the Strategic Team to share information and best practice. You should also have proven ability to work on multiple tasks and to meet set deadlines, and have a flexible, proactive & organised approach, showing energy and enthusiasm, when managing new tasks.
